Teriyaki salmon on lemongrass skewers
Posted in : Main Dish on by : Maya Tags: lemongrass, salmon, teriyaki sauceThis is such an easy way to make an impressive dinner party food. Am I using the word easy too often? Well, I rarely cook complicated dishes, so this is probably why. Maybe I should rename my site to Maya Cooks easy?
Anyway, I am not a great fan of skewers, but lemongrass makes it so much different!
Ingredients
- around 500 g salmon filet, skinless
- 4 sticks lemongrass
- 4 spoons teriyaki sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut the salmon into large cubes.
- Rinse the lemongrass, if the sticks are thick, remove a few leaves.
- Place the salmon on the lemongrass sticks.
- Cover with teriyaki sauce and pressed garlic.
- Leave for 15-20 minutes (preferably).
- Fry on hot, oiled pan for 2-3 minutes from each side, don't overcook!
