Smoked salmon on apple chips
Posted in : Amuse-bouche on by : Maya Tags: apple chips, smoked salmonA simple appetizer, perfect for the festive season. The sweetness of the apple works really well with the salty salmon and spiciness of the pepper.
If you have all the ingredients it takes less than 5 minutes to assemble and serve to your guests while you are finishing whatever main dish you are preparing for them.
Ingredients
- small bag of dried apple slices
- 2-3 slices of smoked salmon
- a few spoons of creamy goat cheese
- fresh ground pepper (I use lemon pepper, but normal pepper will do as well)
Instructions
- Place the apple slices on a plate
- Cut the salmon slices into squares, trying to get a size greater than the whole in the apple chip but smaller than the chip itself. Place salmon on the chips.
- Place 1/4 tsp on each chip
- Sprinkle some pepper on top.
