Salad in a cucumber bowl
I recently discovered how easy it is to create rolls with thin layers of cucumbers. It’s amazing how well they stick and what cool things can be made with it! It’s another very easy yet super fancy recipe!
Ingredients
- Cucumber, sliced thinly with a mandolin into long stripes
- Lettuce
- Egg
- Salmon (I used a leftover piece of salmon in mirin, but you can just take a piece of fresh salmon and fry it or bake it, or use smoked salmon as well
- Sesame seeds
- Vinaigrette
Instructions
- Build bowls with stripes of cucumber using at least 3 stripes for each bowl (or better 4)
- Fill out with the rest of ingredients, sprinkle sesame seeds on top
